About Danielle Heckman

It started with her own Australian Shepherds about five years ago, in the back yard, on a homemade table put together from a patio table and some galvanized pipe.

She kept at it because she liked it. Grooming turned out to be the part of the day she looked forward to. She studied technique, added equipment so she could take on more breeds, and started grooming for family and friends on weekends. Then she posted on Facebook and opened it up to anyone.

Kloud9 Grooming has been running two years now. Weekends were booked two months out. After some changes at home she decided to see whether this could be the whole job rather than the weekend one, and opened up weekday appointments.

That history is the reason for the one dog at a time rule. It started in a back yard with one dog on the table, and it never made sense to change it.
